Delete your data

DEXX is a client portal that construction companies use to work with their clients. If you have a DEXX account, signed in with Facebook, or received a portal invitation, you can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. One email is enough.

  1. Email our support team

    Use the template on this page or write your own. Add the details below so we can find the right account and make sure the request comes from you.

    What we need from you
    • Your full name
    • The email address you use for DEXX, or the address your portal invitation was sent to
    • The construction company whose portal you used
    • If you signed in with Facebook: the name on your Facebook account
    • A project reference or address, if you know one

  2. We confirm it is you

    We reply as quickly as we can. If the details do not match an account, we ask one follow-up question. We never delete an account on an unverified request.

  3. We delete and confirm in writing

    Your data is removed within one month of the verified request. If your request is complex we may extend that by two months, and we tell you within the first month if we do. You get a written confirmation listing what was deleted and what we had to keep.

What we delete

  • Your account and login details, including the connection to your Facebook account
  • Your name, email address, phone number and postal address
  • Messages, notes and documents you uploaded to the portal
  • Your activity history in the portal

What we have to keep

Belgian and European law requires us to keep some records even after a deletion request. We keep those and nothing more.

  • Invoices and accounting records, for 7 years
  • Contracts and delivery records, for as long as a legal claim is possible
  • A minimal record of your deletion request itself, so we can prove we handled it
